For over 30 years, Pastor W. Edward Jenkins has faithfully served as the Senior Pastor of Victory Baptist Church, providing spiritual leadership, guidance, and unwavering dedication to the congregation.

A passionate educator for more than 20 years, Pastor Jenkins holds both a Master’s in Biblical Studies and Theology and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. His academic and theological expertise has empowered him to nurture and equip believers in their faith journey.

 

Pastor Jenkins has also played a pivotal role in the broader faith community, serving as the Dean of the Minister’s Conference for the Los Angeles District Association and as the Moderator of the LA District for a decade. His commitment to pastoral leadership and theological education has influenced countless ministers and church leaders.

As an author, Pastor Jenkins has written two insightful workbooks: Good Grief and District Associations, providing valuable resources for personal and communal spiritual growth. Dr. Jenkins has also taught classes for the California State Convention, Los Angeles District Association and the Congress of the National Baptist Convention INC.

With a heart for discipleship, Pastor Jenkins' mission is to reach, teach, and guide both seasoned and new believers in their walk with God, helping them develop a deeper relationship with Christ.

He is happily married to Sister Kimberley Jenkins, and together they are blessed with a son, Jahi Jenkins.
